Chinati. A Mountain Range & Remarkable Art Destination.

In far West Texas, the tiny town of Marfa is home to the Chinati Foundation, an art pilgrimage easily worth the flight to El Paso and the three-hour drive from there. The artist Donald Judd founded it in 1986 as a site-specific canvas for permanent art instillations. Serial works in both concrete and mill aluminum star, with the spiky terrain, looming peaks and endless skies in essential support.
